The Face Behind the Name
Hi, I’m Anna! I grew up in small-town Alabama, where my family’s faith in Jesus and our involvement in church life shaped just about everything. My life revolved around what was happening at church, holiness camp meetings in the summer, and seeing firsthand my family’s involvement with World Gospel Mission, which sparked my deep love for missions.
I graduated from Asbury University in 2017 and later earned my master’s from Trevecca Nazarene University. Right now, I’m diving into Biblical studies at Wesley Biblical Seminary. I was ordained in the Association of Independent Methodists in the summer of 2024.
Holiness camp meetings and the Asbury Outpouring of 2023 have had a profound impact on my life. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me outside working on my family’s farm, spending time with my dogs, traveling, or cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
Through Pen and Pulpit, I offer reflections, sermons, and writings that focus on holiness and sanctification through Wesleyan-Arminian teachings. This space is a place for me to share my thoughts and provide resources for those seeking a deeper understanding of scriptural holiness. It’s also a way for us to connect if you're interested in having me speak at your church or event.
Thanks for being here! I’m excited to share my heart and passions with you.
